Village Internet and Broadband Ltd (eVIB.net) is based in Silchester Hampshire UK and was conceived in 2001 to provide Broadband Access to rural communities throughout the UK. eVIB.net has a telecommunications operator’s licence from the Department of Trade and Annex II status with Oftel the telecom watchdog. This allows eVIB.net to enable BT telephone exchanges with broadband technology.

Though its eVIB.net Internet Service Provider Village Internet and Broadband Ltd offers broadband (ADSL) packages to meet the needs of home/hobby users, small and medium size companies (SME) and employees of larger companies and corporations as well as community groups, schools and libraries. eVIB.net is a member of the Government's Broadband Steering Group and sits on various Oftel/Ofcom committees.  eVIB.net works with agencies such as SEEDA (South East of England and Development Agency), The Countryside Agency and BT to provide Community Internet Portals for villages.

In addition to Broadband eVIB.net provides a free Dial-up Service, Web Mail and Domain Name services.
